The Ocean City Captains Association
OCCA is Ocean City Maryland’s association of charterboat captains and mates. The OCCA was originally formed in 1981 and currently represents a significant number of Ocean City Maryland’s Charter fleet crewmembers. Our members include head boat, inshore and offshore charter boat operators whose principal responsibility is take passengers fishing for hire. The OCCA’s objective is to represent in a professional organized manner the interests of our members as it relates to local, state and federal regulatory issues that affect our charter fishing industry while at the same time striving to promote charter fishing in Ocean City, MD.
